I'd like the capability to create a symbol so that when it is inserted into a drawing, the symbol takes on ALL the attributes of the class it is inserted into. In other words, if I create a symbol, I'd like it's lineweight, color, fill, linetype, etc. all controlled by the class it's inserted into, not limited to the attributes that were used when originally creating the symbol. This is useful in a number of ways.
1. If you want to have a drawing that uses the same symbol but have it appear differently: dashed linetype, heavy/lighter pen width or with a screened linetype.
2. You can use the same symbol on different classes and control it's visibility through only the inserted class and not it's originally drawn class.
3. Create symbols independent of class, not necessarily knowing how the symbols will be placed into a drawing.
