petervg123
I am exporting a large high quality Quicktime VR model from VW12.5 and I would like to make the file slightly smaller for the internet. I have QT pro but i am have quit a time to get it to the file size I want from VW or QT. Any idea's? thanks in advance petervg Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Recall that the size of he VW window determines he final size of he QT VR model. Use a 3d Poly to determine the circular reference size. o export. Quote Link to comment

atari2600
In quicktime pro, I believe you can go into the properties and change the filesize there, or you can somehow "save for the web" under file/save as... It could also be under "share" if that menu exists. I have Quicktime pro at home, and have done just what you're asking before. I just forgot the actual menu sequence. I would think it would be easier to change the movesize in quicktime than in Vectorworks. Quote Link to comment
islandmon
VW has the ability to limit the extraneous 'white space' around the object by selecting the 3d Poly as a focal point. QT Pro has many unique capabilities but in the case of QTVR it will only resize the total image frame ( if i'm not mistaken ). Apple Dev Install 10.4 now provides Quartz Composer which uses the Video Processor and the resultant file size is many times smaller than a standard .mov file . Quote Link to comment
