BSRanch
When I import a DWG occasionally the defalt z level is 200' or 438' or whatever. Is there a way to avoid this when importing or a way to reset the default z level for creating 3D objects? Quote Link to comment
Guest
Are you referring to a layer z, delta z, or everything in the drawing is created at this high z value? Please be as specific as possible for easy resolution. Quote Link to comment
BSRanch
When I check the layers they all say that both z values are zero. I may not be stating this properly as it appears that when I create 3D objects using the extrude tool they have a zero z value but when I go to a front or side view they are at some elevated vaule on the grid. What I guess I am asking is there a way to reset the z zero grid origin like you can with the x y? Or alternately is ther something I am doing wrong importing. Quote Link to comment
BSRanch
I could send you both the DWG and the MCD and you can see exactly what I saying. Quote Link to comment
