Sandking
Is there something like info about absolute position of 3d object? I would like to know how high something is but can't figure out where it is. Quote Link to comment
DDDesign
object dimensions are given in the object info palette - window/palettes/object info. Note that this can also be used to edit objects directly. Also, absolute position of cursor is given in the boxes top left of the window. Position the cursor at any point on object with cursor clues to determine absolute psition of any point. Quote Link to comment
Guest
What type of object is it? Are you looking for the total height of an object or how far off the "ground" is the object? Quote Link to comment
Sandking
It's an extruded rectangle. I want to know how far in x,y,z is it from drawing origin. Quote Link to comment
Guest
Sure - use the Volumetric Properties under the Model menu. The dialog will give you a cX, cY, and cZ - the relative points of the center of the selected 3D object. Quote Link to comment
