exocubic
On my iMac G5, I am unable to hide the extension for .mcd files. Why? And can this be remedied in some way? Quote Link to comment
Gytis
In VW Preferences, under Session, uncheck "Automatically append file extensions." :-) Quote Link to comment
exocubic
Thanks for the tip, that should work when saving newly created files. But with already extant files, I am unable to hide extensions (the checkbox is grayed out in the Get Info window) via the Finder. All other files, besides those with the .mcd extension, are able to be hidden this way. Quote Link to comment
exocubic
OK, more VW-related oddities with icons. Check out these Spotlight data importers... which have nothing to do with VW, sporting the VW icon. What the...? Quote Link to comment
Gytis
I don't know how many you want to change, but there is always the manual option via a finder window. Quote Link to comment
