Making changes to Door in Resource Browser

I am very new to VW and I could use some help.

I am trying to change one of the Marvin Doors. In the users manual it tells me to pick on a unit and then in the resources menu to pick "Modify" but when I pick on it I do have that option.

To edit a symbol through the Resource Browser:

1. In the Resource Browser, select the symbol to edit, and select Edit from the Resources menu.

Alternatively, edit a black symbol instance from the drawing by selecting it and selecting Modify > Edit Symbol, or selecting Edit from the context menu.

I am sure this it is something very simple, but I do not have very much experence using VW.

Any help you can give me would be great!

I found the solution. I needed to open up the drawing that had the doors originally in them. So after I opened them up I was able to edit them, no problem...
