Reviewing one of Mike Kingsley's posts this morning prompted me to add this wish:
All Symbols should be Tri-brid , 2d/3d/Viewport.
This would allow insertion onto Sheets as pure VP not just as 1:1 scale or into the scaled Annotation Layer. VP Advance Properties could then be applied directly to the Symbol instance without affecting anything else.
This , of course, is now possible, but with extra work creating the individual Viewports from a Symbol Layer.
The Resource Browser would need to be modified to recognize/display 'type'= viewport
