pamelight
I am modeling a curved wall and would like to place extruded text on it. I have created the wall and extruded the text but can't figure out how to get the text to curve along the path without having to move each letter. Is there an easier way to do this? Guest
Use the new Text Along Path menu to achieve this. You'll want to select text and a 3D object, such as a nurbs curve or 3D polyline to have the text follow. You can refer to the Upgrade Companion Guide you should have received with your upgrade or the User's Guide for further information. Quote Link to comment
pamelight
This sort of helps but not reall.y I want the letters to be on the surface of the concave facia of the curved wall at 3' high. If I use text along a path, the text follows the top curve of the wall not the inside curve. When I rotate the letters after extruding them, they look like a rainbow, not a straight line of text on a curved wall. Quote Link to comment
