window schedule / window object data tab

new to vw (vw12) and frustrated by the window schedule tool. is there a trick to adding information via the window object's 'data' tab (mfr, egress compliant). sometimes the changes i make stick, but usually they don't, and changing the info doesn't work. what am i doing wrong?

Are you trying to use the data tab in the OIP because this has changed in VW12. You now use the data tab in the window preference box which is accessed by the settings tab in the OIP or the window preference icon in the upper left mode bar. The data tab will open the data list, click on manufacturer and type the name in the box below. You must update the worksheet everytime you change window infomation.
