We want to plot VW 10.5 XP drawing to either PLT or PDF (preferred). The problem: VW can't translate screen colors to black and some to gray. Color-translation-table? For example pink goes to 60% gray. This gray is dithered very rude by the OCE plotter of our plot-service.
Lines of 0,1 mm is twice as thick. Especialy with architectural elevation drawings this is terrible. Some VW dealers say I we should
draw with black lines and zooming line thickness on, but that really no solution (says everybody in our firm, some people draw CAD in color already about 15 years)
Preferences VW display in BW is no solution. Gray filling is gone!! Has anybody a solution.
Surveying this tech board proves that a lot of people are stugling with this topic. Where's Nemetschek? Please develop something and you have a winner!!
As a workaround: has somebody for example an script that ungroups all symbols and groups, then turn pen colors to black.
I would appriciate any suggestion very much. Its taking to much of my time.
