I've noticed that on a mac when you open certain dialogue boxes they default to useful fields. The Move command had the X value already selected and all you have to do is enter the #. The Scale objects does the same. And I think the Offset Dialogue defaults to the distance field.
Under windows this does not happen and is very annoying. I would be nice if this feature were the same across platform. I get frustrated when I open the offset dialogue and enter the value only to suddenly realize I didn't select the field first.
