Michael J. Beyer
Hello, I am running Vectorworks 8.5.2 and have been having some difficulty with the create worksheet for editing tool in the theatrical lighting template. We have been trying to update our plots to Vectorworks files, and have been transferring things back and forth. In the process of transferring, I noticed that I was no longer able to edit instruments labels, and assumed it was because they were classified as single objects and could no longer be considered a lighting instrument. I started from scratch on the light plot label, simply deleting all of the instruments and replacing them one by one, as well as inserting new labels and instrument records. When I decided to run a worksheet for editing, the message came up that there was a runtime error and that there would be an abnormal program termination. I tried to reinstall Vectorworks, I even tried installing it on another computer. The same problem occurred in both instances. I moved the information to a new file, in the hopes that the program would no longer be confused. It created a worksheet once, and then a second time the same problem existed. is it because there is information in the converted files that is confusing Vectorworks, or is there a problem with my computer? Do I have to start this plot over entirely from a blank document, or is there a fix? Michael J. Beyer Quote Link to comment
