G-Man 0 Posted January 3, 2001 Hey, Vectorworks gods: 1. World and local coordinates in both cartesian and polar units with the tape measure tool. Just reporting cartesian units is severely limiting. 2. World, local and polar coordinate entry options in offset dialogs (array duplicate, offset tool, etc.). 3. Radians. Useful for subdividing curves. 4. Reporting circumferential arc lenths in linear dimensions and radians, not just sweep in degrees or d-m-s. My benchmark for these is the Form-Z interface. 0 vectorbits 0 Posted January 22, 2001 I have been working on a Tape Measure tool that gives the user more information such as delta X, delta Y, angle, lenght and paper measure in cm & inches. You can download it from my web page. ------------------ VectorBITS www.terra.es/personal4/vectorbits Quote Share this post Link to post
0 Ken 0 Posted January 23, 2001 Thanks for posting, vectorbits. Indeed a very useful tape measure tool. Beware to first move the original tape measure out of the plug-ins folder. :-) Quote Share this post Link to post
