tesseract
Organize - Layer Options should read: Active Only Gray Others **Gray/Snap others** Show others Show/Snap Others Show/Snap/Modify Others We must be able to snap to objects on other layers without having them fully visible. 0 acepernich
Ah, but many grayed objects are only represented by their bounding boxes. Gray/Snap Others will require objects to be fully drawn, which negates some clutter/speed advantage of Gray Others. Maybe an acceptable tradeoff. 0 cfleury
I'm going to agree snaping to a grey object would be most usefull. particularly loci. For that matter a multi layerd loci would be nice. an option while placing maybe? Quote Link to comment
0 Ken
I simply set the particular layer color to *grey* and layer options to Show/Snap Others. There's even a neat little script floating around (authored by yours truly) which toggles whichever layer you want to any color you want. Use two of them to go back and forth. Look in the VW archives under "layer color macros." ------------------ Kenneth Quote Link to comment
