As far as I can tell, the Plants-Components-Polygon class is attached to the geometry of plant objects and embedded in a plant style with no ability to assign it to another class in the plant style dialog. The current work-around for this is to rename inside the organization palette or via the batch rename function. However, the class still auto-populates any time a new plant is added, regardless of whether polygon display is enabled or not.
It would be nice to have a class assignment dropdown in the Appearance tab of the Plant Style dialog, similar to the tag class assignment below it. The current inability to do so is inconsistent with every other object style.
