Windows 11 not supporting older versions of Vectorworks

Hi,

 

 I want to purchase an older version of Vectorworks (2017). However, I’ve just found out that older versions of Vectorworks (from 2020 and older) do not work on Windows 11. Those of you purchasing older versions of Vectorworks (from 2020 and older) how would you get past this? I currently have a Windows 10 laptop that I can install the 2017 version on.  But what if in say, 3 years time the laptop stops working properly and I need to deactivate the license and reinstall it on a new laptop but I can’t because the only laptops/computers going have Windows 11?

 

Any advice would be much appreciated.
