Hunter B
I've run across this bug a couple of times and I can usually fix it if I restart VW or the entire machine. But now this no longer solves my problem. HERE's the rub... I export the drawing as an image file.. I choose Photoshop or quicktime and do as I've always done and save the file, but now the file comes up as a "22 file" with an icon that looks like an adobe acrobat icon. I used to have this problem and the "type" label that would come up was an "03 file" DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS Quote Link to comment

Guest
You may need to make sure you add the file extension to the name such as .qti or .psd Also, after the file is saved, go to the icon and right click it. Select Properties and then click on Opens with. Specify the application you want that image file to be associated with. Select to make that association for all files of that type. Hunter B
katie .. thanks.. but... if I do choose the program to open the file.. ie Photoshop.. it says that it cannot read the file.. so I have to save it as a tiff file.. SOMETIMES THIS PROGRAM WORKS SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T Quote Link to comment
Guest
Do you mean sometimes photoshop opens the files and sometimes it doesn't? When you open the file with PhotoShop, is the error you get the information in the first post? Have you tried to reinstall QuickTime ? Quote Link to comment
