I'm trying to rotate an Epson projector symbol but every time I do I get the warning "Hybrid objects can only be rotated in a plane parallel to the active layer place. Would you like the working plane set to the active layer plane?" I click "Yes" and then still can't rotate it. If I try to rotate in rotate 3D I get "Hybrid object can only be rotated about the Z axis". If I delete the 2D symbol, making it no-longer a hybrid object, then it works as I'd like it to, but I lose the 2D symbol. Obviously, would like to keep the 2D symbol, but can always render hidden line to achieve a compromise. Any ideas here?

I'd love to use the Video Screen tool to drop in our proj/screens, but the roll-down screen only has one header height, and I can't customize the screen box to be higher up with a taller header above the screen. Is this possible another way?

Hello lovely VW Forums, I am once again asking for your assistance. I'm working on drafting two new venues now and this one's main function is as a sort of movie theatre. So the issue I'm running in to is that I started using stories for this one because it has proven to be really helpful in organization, but it does seem to make placing projection a bit more difficult since I'd like to have the projection stuff assigned to the second story for organization purposes, but to be able to have the screen placed correctly on the story below. Drawing attached to show what I mean, but basically I'm not sure if you can rotate the entire unit in 3D space or not, my usual methods of doing that haven't worked, and I haven't been able to figure out where that might be in the settings for the projection tool. As always, I appreciate you all and the knowledge you all share with me. Thanks!

It would be really great to be able to use the projector tool to project on something other than a "screen". Most of my work involves projecting on custom surfaces, many of which are custom and not necessarily flat. I know that I can project a gobo but it's a workaround and an extra step that is just unpleasant to have to use. Thanks. Dave
