Is there some specific way that files should be exported from Archicad to be able to import into Vectoworks? Currently the DWG file from Archicad comes in as a series of symbols and shapes that need to be exploded to work with. I would like the file to come in with the wall assembly intact. Thank you

What's the preferred workflow to export from VW to Archicad. IFC seems to get the job done but the results are clunky, DWG maintains the look & feel in 2d but lines and filled polygons. I thought IFC promised a smooth Wall-Wall, Window-Window translation that would allow work to continue virtually seamlessly after traversing the wormhole.
