    I am not familiar with with glow shaders or the custom IES lights?   Where may I find the shader and IES lights?

    Auto Hybrid

    Thank you very much for your time and assistance.  I was unable to establish the cause for the auto hybrid failure.  This is a very good learning experience and I will review the material posted.

    I have created a Polygon, used clip surface and created an extrude.  I want to model a vanity with counter with a cut out for a sink.  I am unable to crete an auto hybrid?  I am not sure why, but I get an error message referring to a poly break with the name auto hybrid already exists in document?  Why can I not create an auto hybrid?

    That is correct.  The resource is in the current file.  However, it would appear that my only option is to create a new resource.  I simply would like to edit the existing resource?  Thanks..

    3D Object View

    I have just imported a 3D CAD drawing from a supplier.  However the view orientation is incorrect.  When I downloaded the file the view is indicating top/plan view, but is actually showing a front view?  How do I correct this so that I may use in my current file with the proper view?

    I have text within a symbol that will not update regardless what is indicated in the attribute pallet. The pen colour remains black even though the colour is blue in the attributes pallet. I can toggle between defaults etc with no change to the pen colour. How to get the symbol text to update? thanks.lm

    I am working on a kitchen design. I have down loaded a sink symbol. I line up the sink and counter top which has a cut out for the sink in plan view. I also set the the elevation correctly. When I view in a perspective the sink symbol does not line up properly. It is offset from the counter top. Why would the symbol line up in plan view but not a perspective?

    Window dormer

    I would like to insert a window dormer in to my roof. When I create a window symbol the dormer is created. However the window orientation is not correct. It is perpendicular the wall. How do I change the orientation or change insertion operations?

    I have tried a number of things. I have noticed that when I try to set the class to a wall style i am creating it defaults to a unstyled wall with corresponding attributes?
