The classes are set to visible, class settings are set to "Show/Snap/Modify Others". THe window button is like it is greyed out. I went into the workspace editor yesterday and changed the key command and then it worked. But today it is not functioning again. I deleted it from the Tool Set and re-installed but still no luck. Guess I will have to revert back to 12.5 which worked fine, to get this job done unless someone comes up with another solution. So far this is the only tool that I cannot get to function.

I have a class called doors & windows that is active and visible. The door commands work fine.

Sorry, I didn't realize that was required to get assistance. Not trying to be a smartass but I will fill my profile when I get time. Right now my boss would prefer that the program is funcioning properly so I can get this job out.

this is a new version just installed yesterday. I haven't done any work with it and this was my first layout. How do you check if a plugin is installed?

I just got my Desiger 2008 with renderworks and have installed it and started poking aound. i cannot get the 'Window' icon in the 'Building Shell' to activate. All the other icons are working but if I try to click on it nothing happens. The program automatically downloaded and installed the latest updates after the main progarm install so I am assuming that I am current. 2008 SP3(build 88670). Anyone else experienceing this or am I missing something? Thanks for any help M

I recently saw a third party software that I belive partners with VW. It is for cabinet deesign and fetures door and drawer front styles. For the life of me I cannot find it. Anyone know of this and how to find more info and order? Thanks Michael

I am setting out to catagorize and clean up files from the previous desinger at our firm. I also want to create a template with my normal classes, layers, resources, title block etc. So here are a couple of questions. I am using 12.5, with 2008 Designer on the way. 1. I created a title block and sheet border and gave it a class (title block)as well as created other classes for my typical setup and made it visible. 2. I created several layers, 'Working Layer', 'Information', 'Plan view', 'Elevations' etc. First problem is the title block class, though set to visible will only show up on the 'Information' layer. Secondly, what is the most efficient way to corral symbols that are in numerous drawing files across 2 hard drives, bring them into this template file and create in folders in the resourse browser? Thirdly, where does this file need to be saved to show up in the 'Create a new document' pulldown menu? As always, thanks in advance for your help. Michael

Thanks guys, the Hidden Line rendering worked to an extent, but I had many lines in shades of grey, some red and other colors. I merticulously went in (newbie here) and changed line colors, etc. So after review and taking a two day Vectorworks course this weekend, I find that all I really needed to do was to set my document settings to 'Black & White Only'. OK newby here. Is it possible to print a line drawing from a wireframe design? I am using Fundamentals and Renderworks 12.5 and I have designed an exhibit that was created with 3D symbols that the previous designer created. I am just learning VW by being thrown into the fire. I can print fully rendered views but cannot figure how to print line drawings for the exhibit exhibit Electrical and Floor Plans. Any suggestion and help greatly appreciated.
