generally I only need the code in which Vectorscript is using files, Mac Roman can be excluded since there are deviations from the symbols I've got.

so i have to formate the input file in unicode, or which file formate would be the best to ensure the glyphs do not occur?

hello. i am coding a textfile input. the textfile contains special chars like the euro-sign (?) and ??? and so on. when the file is read in the characters get transformed to some weird ascii signs, when put into a listbox, in an alertdialog they remain the same. is there any possibility to make special characters also work in listboxes? thanks in regards, f.m.

Hello. I would like to know if it is possible to launch vektorworks with a parameter to imediatly read in a file and convert the data into variables to use them in a vectorscript (which doesnt have to be load imediatly, but if it is neccessary it would be fine aswell). thanks in regards, Fabian Mohr
