  1. Thanks for sorting this. I know if was years ago but I had such problems with stuff not working in 2019 I reverted to 2018 until Jan this year. We have learned to always run software a year behind so most bugs can be resolved. Just now start on VW2020 and this fixed a major annoyance. (Also, could VW not have chosen a different colour for the taskbar logo? We had black last year too!)
  2. Thanks for replying Alan. I know how to apply textures, but am finding that the 3D Line weight is different to the Class line weight that I have for my roof objects. Has Vectorworks introduced a way on controlling 2D and 3D line weights separately? This happens when I convert a copy of my model to lines (using convert copy to line). Wall and other objects are fine. Its just the roof that come through at 0.05 when I have the model set to a 0.15. Thanks again for your help.
  3. Years ago there was an automatic script created once for NZ/Australian users called Elevation Maker which would convert (hidden line render) copy to lines of all four sides of a 3d model. Has this ever been added to the Vectorworks we now all download via VSS?
  4. In VW16 my roofs have a different 3D lineweight and colour than the class settings suggest. How can I control 3D attributes?
  5. I have upgraded to VW2016 (as I usually do a year + late to avoid the bugs) and find my Use Class Attributes plug-in is not there. Has this been renamed or is there a new similar command? This plug-in allowed you to right click on an object and tell it to apply to class settings. Despite setting 'use at creation' being checked on the classes I use, this does not appear to be happening automatically. What might I be missing?
  6. I have a file where both wall styles show solid grey on the design layer but the component (frame / cavity / brick) detail / fill does show on the viewport. I am in top/plan view and want the components to show. Help please.
  7. I am finding that when I apply a certain hatches to walls (such as 'Stone Variagated') Renderworks shows bubbles in the texture which creates shadows. How can I stop it doing this?
