the "now printing" dialogue box appears & then everything grinds to a hault, I've turned off GDI & the drawing prints straight away, problem is the opacity effects are lost

the arrow heads wern't there to start with, they seemed to suddenly appear!

I've got a problem with the way the framing members are displaying (see attached)the arrow heads suddenly appeared, I have know idea how, can some on help. This has also happened with the roof object & the arrows also appear in the view ports

I use an Evoluent vertical mouse, has five buttons & is easy on the wrist, no 64 bit driver though

can anyone tell me what a good spec would be. My work computer is a Intel Xeon CPU 2.80 GHz, 2.79GHz, 2.00 GB ram. Display adapter is NVIDIA Quadro FX 540. This seems as if it should be a fast computer but is slow copared to my home computer which is a lower spec especially when refreshing, panning or zooming. I would be gratefull for any sugestions.

I've created a circular window & inserted it into a wall as a symbol, is it possible to attach an ID label to it as with normal windows?

I usually use Sketchup & import into Vectorworks for any thing complicated, I've not got the hang of 3D modelling in Vectorworks yet, but I am getting there.

I've had this problem as well, the design layer displays correctly but the viewport does not, if I go into the design layer from the viewport & then back to the viewport the windows & doors display correctly but if I close the file & open it again the problem returns, see attached pdf

I've just realised its only multiple or grouped objects that disappear & I can only see a box that marks the area of the selected objects, single ones are OK apart from callouts, the text disappears, is this normal?

all the time, sometimes bits of the objects are visible especially callouts. I use vectorworks on two different computers with different OS & spec & its the same on both

when I drag an object or a group of objects with the mouse they disappear, is it possible to make the objects stay visible
