my previous post shows a stair created with the old stair tool I can't get the new tool to recreate this, it won't let me have a single riser in the first flight

is it possible to produce wall areas per room with the space tool

is it possible to change the mouse pointer style in vectorworks, I can change it winthin windows to a cross but when I move the mouse over the drawing area it changes back to a arrow head, although when the mouse is over the palettes or menus the pointer changes to a cross! I've tried turning on the full screen cursor but the arrow head is still there.

is jt possible to make extruded objects appear as structural objects in section viewports?

when I export to sketchup i turn on stack layer mode & export a 3ds file, when importing into sketchup turn on the merge coplaner faces under the options button, this usual works fine for me.

have you tried a vertical mouse, I had problems with my wrists & now I use an Evoluent vertical mouse.

I want to export to Piranesi but I dont have renderworks whats the best way to do it

I've been using the elevation benchmark tool in view ports and I've just realised that if I move a viewport vertically the benchmark value changes, is there a way to stop this happening?

that is complicated, so vectorworks wont do this automatically?, I used to run a cad package that did I think it was turbo cad, in fact it could cope with a mixture of line & cicles as well. How about adding this to the wish list?

the two circles aren't touching, its the third which will touch both

copied the file to pluggins folder doesn't seem to come up in the vectorscript pluggin in editor or anywhere else???

has any one got details for buildings clad with feather edge boarding. I need details of how to form junctions around openings & where the board abuts a brick wall.

there is a pluggin you can download from www.vectordepot.com called fastener, its an older pluggin but still works ok see atttachment this was drawn using the pluggin

try 3d warehouse there are many sketchup models which can be converted to dwg, 3ds etc, etc thats if you have sketchup

in the edit wall style dialogue box there is a column labeled "core" what does this do?
