  1. I've run into this problem a number of times. You can only have 25 label legends in a single drawing. What if I need more?!? I try to keep a master drawing with all the label legends in it and this is killing me. Not to mention I need more than 25 in a drawing I'm working on right now! Any work arounds??? ....is the same limit in effect for 12.5?? I'm in 11.5.1 Thanks for any help.
  2. Interesting... All along I have had the Inst Type correct--a description of the symbol. Not until I filled in the Device Type in the Light Info Record with "Light" did the symbol respond correctly... Is it true that there is a label legend limit per drawing? Anyway to override?
  3. Not knowing the answer to your actual question...the easiest thing to do would be to start a new file. Perform your changes in the new file and then import them into a new folder entitled ETC 750 or whatever. No matter what, you need new symbol names for the symbols, as each resource must have a unique name...
  4. So, I've drawn a set of striplights. I changed the Light Info Record to display the correct Inst Type. I insert the fixtures and there it is--it says the correct Inst Type. I insert the color, purpose, channel, etc... and then refresh the fixtures. When I refresh the fixture, "Light" appears in the Inst Type!! Arrrggh. Then I can replace with active symbol and it goes back to the correct striplight infomation. What the? Also--my Add button is greyed-out in the label legend manager. Is there a limit to the number of LLs in a drawing?? That's wrong.
