  2. Worked perfectly
  3. Thanks
  4. I will try that Thanks!
  5. I have recently updated to VWsp2 and updated vision 2017 as well. After doing so, VW crashes when I run the menu command "send to Vision" Also, when I try to change the fixture under the "fixture mode" is stays as "none" and does not bring up dialog window to allow for the correct fixture type to be selected. I am running Mac 10.11.6 El Capitan and have not updated to Sierra yet. I have tried previous files which operated correctly and opened new files to try a replicate the problems of which respond the same way. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. I am trying to connect vision 17 to Hog 4 PC to start programming a show. Both are on the same computer running windows 10. Can anyone guide me on the correct settings I need to get the programs talking to each other? Thanks
  7. Yes, that is what I needed to do. I am up and running. Thanks, Glen
  8. I have recently upgraded my OS on my mac to El Capitan 10.11.2 and now my ESP vision dongle is not recognized, nor does the red light turn on. This means that the vision program will only fire up in demo mode. I have tried starting up on a remote disk using the previous OS X and the dongle is recognized; red light turns on. I am wondering what may have changed between the two OS X versions and am looking for something to "turn back on" in order for the Dongle to start working. Any help would be appreciated. Glen
  9. I have upgraded to OS mavericks 10.9.4 and am working with a dual monitor set up. One is used as the work space and the other to hold the pallets. I have arranged the pallets on the second monitor to where I like them, then quite VW, and reopened it and the pallets right where I left them. The problem is every once in a while when I return to work, the computer wakes up and the pallets have all moved to the the primary monitor. I then have to move them back to the second monitor. Has anyone else had this issue, or have some solutions to try? This is not a deal breaker by any means, just really annoying when I have to move the pallet back to the secondary monitor. Thanks, Glen
  10. Fantastic! This is exactly what I was looking for. Appreciate your help.
  11. Thanks for all that info. So based upon the "needs' of VW, what would be the ideal Mac Pro set up to get the most out of VW? 6, 8, or 12 cores-with a slower clock speeds 16, 32, 64 GB of memory Fire Pro D500 or D700? (Assume the 700 would be best) Of course budget pays into this as well. Looking for the best set up with a Performance/Cost ratio. Thanks again for the help.
  12. I am looking at the purchase of the new Mac Pro and was wondering if VW and render works benefits from the multi core processing? Trying to determine whether it makes sense to go to 8 core or not. Thanks for the help, Glen
  13. Is the new release of VW 2010 SN compatible? I understand that 2009 does have issues and there is a update forthcoming. So with the new release of 2010, I am wondering if we can now make the move to SN? Thanks, Glen
  14. Hi, I am having trouble with an error message during the install process. I get through the the serial number entry, the install starts, then I get this error message: "Error extracting: Plug-in/PDFUtilityLib.vwlibrary/Contents/Resources/Adobe81/Font/AdobeHeitiStd-Regular.otf" Does anyone have an idea what might be going on, other than a damaged DVD? I enclosed a screen shot if it helps. Thanks for the help. Glen Goodwin MAC OSX 10.5.6 2x3Ghz Dual Intel Xeon 16 GB Ram
  15. Thanks, This what I ended up doing as well. Just wondering if I missed something in the drop ceiling creation or in the PIO. Maybe align to arc or path?? Thanks, Glen
