  1. This is what i've found to be the easiest approach. For domestic touring where i do all the overlays and venue calcs myself anyway, i reference the venue in my master file, a separate file per venue. In the case of international shows you just make sure the local headrigger has the latest edition of your rig, and its on them to provide venue overlays.
  2. I want you to be aware that Prolyte S52V, also has the incorrect weight. Im not in front of VWX, but a 3m piece is atm 10kg less of what prolyte says it is. I figured ill quote you here instead of making a new post about it.
  3. That is very weird, as I and a colleague of mine in the office is on SP7, will doublecheck this come monday, and if so i apologize for bringing it up! Cheers I see, thanks for the reply!
  4. I think something went wrong here. I've yet to update to VW2025, to many projects in the air as of yet. The symbol did update, although now it has its weight as "0" instead, see attached image. Also, this does not seem to have a valid cross section, is there any chance for this to be fixed in VW2024? Cheers
  5. Hey, didnt really know where to post this but ill try here. The symbol for Jthomas ST30 2500mm truss has a weight of 2525KG per piece, i find that to be a bit heavy when its supposed to weigh 25.5KG. Quick fix for me is ofcourse to just change it in the OIP, but this should be fixed in the libraries. Cheers x
  6. Hey, yeah thats what i've been doing. Was just looking for a quicker way to do it, as i've been using different color hoist symbols for different departments! I ended up doing them all this way anyhows! But thanks!
  7. Greetings I've been trying to edit some hoist symbols to reflect our local suppliers actual hoists, in terms of chainlength, brand, etc What i've done is i've taken a working hoist symbol, duplicated the HoistObjectData Record, edited the parts i want to edit, but when i try to then attach that record to the symbol, it turns into a 2d/3d symbol instead of a hoist object. I know i am missing something, but what?
  8. Thank you! Will play around with that
  9. That seems to have done the trick for the Y origing Although i messed up the formula or it was wrong as i am getting this! KR Sebbe
  10. Fine suggestions all of it, although not quite what im after! I've gotten closer to the goal, now i just need help to figure out how to sort these 3 columns the way i want. So i want column "C" To display only -X numbers Column "D" to go from positive 420 to 0 to -420 And column "E" To display only positive numbers i've manually created a non working example, see attached image #2
  11. So I've gotten this far, the issue i have now is how to properly sort it the way i want to. That being i want it to sort on the "Origin Y" But to sort it as + or - so that every - is on one half and all the + is on the other half, as you go about chalking it out.
  12. Hello As im not really used to working with worksheets/excel in general i now turn to the community. I am trying to make a worksheet template for hoists, to make an automatic X/Y list for sending out to riggers onsite. The idea im trying to make happen is that once imported into the current document im working on it displays the hoists i put in the drawing, sorted on +-/XY, and also if i delete a hoist it will also disappear from there Any help or pointers as to how to get there, or if my idea just isnt doable would be much appreciated! Kind Regards Sebbe
  13. Ah, that does it. Thank you.
  14. Has there been a recent update that removes this way of doing it? I work with several different suppliers, all of whom have different hoists and lengths of chain, im trying to find a quick way to either make symbols for each company, or make some attachable records to use. The way discussed here seems good, although i cannot seem to be able to do it! When i right click a symbol in the resource manager all i get is this
