Answered my own question in the end... change workspace via the Tools menu.

Hi. I am a newbie to Vectorworks and have been making progress getting to know the basics after 30 years of AutoCAD. Today I hit a snag which I am sure is a basic rookie thing but I am pulling my hair out. I was drawing a seating area using Create Objects from Shapes and Vectorworks hung. When I restarted the applicatio, the command had vanished from the menu. How do I get this back?? Thanks. h
