I have a shared project file that is now 66MB large. I've been building this file for over a month. After the last Save and Commit, I got this error. It tells me to go to Tools> Utilities> Run Project Sharing Metadata Diagnostics. I don't see that option. I'm running SP 6. Right now, I'm the only one working on this file, and I do a Save and Commit several times a day. Those commits aren't that slow, typically just several seconds. Soon, more engineers will be using this file. The file is mostly schematics and 2D rack elevations, lots of circuits. So far, we're only 10% finished with this file, it will be MUCH larger as we continue the design. I've browsed thru some of the similar forum posts on this subject, but most are years old.
1. Please let me know what I should do about this metadata error.
2. Are we asking too much of the program for a file this large? Is there an upper limit?
Thank you,
