I have attempted to export a drawing to a .pdf file which I imported from a .dwg file, and the lineweights are too heavy. I have attempted to lower them with no success. How can I correct this?

I have created a new class and design layer for objects in a drawing with multiple design. When I select my overall design layer, the objects in the layer I just created are "grayed out" even though all my design layers are selected to be visible. Why is this the case?

I am having an issue exported my drawing as a .pdf file. When I export the file, all the line weights are thick; and the drawing blurred and unreadable. I am having the same issue when I try the print function saving it as a .pdf. I welcome any insight into solving this issue.
