When I double click on a viewport, e.g. a viewport showing a plan, how can I have the view of the plan be located at the same place as the view of the plan in the viewport?

Simple question. How can Viewports be renamed after they are created? I've gone to Organisation Palette, Viewports, Edit, but there is nowhere to rename the Viewport.

Problem was solved by Julian at Ozcad. 'Try going to the Tools Menu/Origin command and choose Set User Origin to Internal Origin option, to see if that makes a difference'. The user origin of my drawing was set a long way from the internal origin.

The file was created from a VW 2015 file. I've tried closing the palette and reopening but still not working.

I have one file where the object info. palette doesn't show data for objects and won't allow me to input data. All other files are working ok. Is there a setting I've missed?

I often have the background render mode for Viewports set to Sketch (for the Schematic stage of projects). When I click on Edit Design Layer for the Viewport the Design Layer always displays in Sketch mode. Is there any setting I can use to have the Design Layer automatically display in Wireframe?

Invisible classes contain several different object types - lines, polygons, symbols . The problem is intermittent - this morning it's not picking up the invisible classes.????

When I create a polygon using Inner Boundary Mode the polygon is picking up classes which are turned off. Is there a way to avoid this so the boundaries of the polygon are formed by only the visible classes?

Since upgrading to VW 2016 my saved wall styles are not displayed in the list of wall styles available. I have checked that the file with my saved wall styles is in the correct Walls~Slabs folder in the User Folders. Has there been a change made in 2016 re the display of user resources that I am missing?

When I set the Background Render mode of a viewport (which is on a sheet layer) to Sketch, every arc in the drawing has an arrow head at its end. These arrows disappear when the mode is set to Wireframe. Can anyone help?

Thanks, Drag and drop PDF's onto a new A1 sheet worked very well and quickly.

I have a project set up with many A3 size drawing sheets. Builder has requested that I combine 4 sheets on to 1 A1 sheet for printing, and send him a PDF of the A1 Is there an easy way to do this?

I'm having a problem when exporting to PDF with opacity. Elements with less than 100% opacity appear correctly when the PDF is viewed on screen, but when I print a hard copy of the PDF the opacity of the elements is 100%. I'm sure there is a setting I need to amend somewhere, as I've only been having the problem for the last week.

Sorry - not sure what you mean. When I print a page straight to my printer the printed page scales perfectly. So I don't want to change any settings re margins, borders etc. When I select 'Export PDF' I'm not given any options about borders or margins.

When I export to PDF the resultant drawing has shrunk by about 4% on the page. The problem is not in the printing of the PDF - the shrinkage occurs in the exporting of the drawing from VW to the PDF. Is there a way to rectify this?

Is there a way that I can change the pen colors and/or thicknesses in the Standards Palette supplied by Ozcad?

Is there a way to copy and increment numbers in VW? I have a project with more than 100 rooms and would like to be able to copy a room number to the next room, and automatically have it changed to the next no. I remember that Microstation used to have this function.
