  1. Thanks for those tips Jeff. I will try them too
  2. Thanks Pat, It is actually better with the origin set to 0. And I wil group the objects. I Was just wondering if it was an issue with my Mac or the .dwg file. It's just really frustrating to see how it's slow on VWX compare to Autocad or others. But I guess that's the way VWX works.
  3. I also tried on Vectorworks 2023. Slightly better but still slow.
  4. here is the vector file after conversion. Is it running slow on your side? Test.vwx
  5. Hi all, I'm having some issues with importing .dwg files in Vectorworks 2024. I'm working on a MacBook Pro M1 Max 32go of ram. When I import .dwg files. The navigation gets very slow, its impossible to work with it.... In the activity monitor, the memory usage on VWX goes up to 45Go... I'm trying to get informations on other forums but I can't get any solutions. I tried different import settings 2D/ low res etc... Still the same. If I open the .dwg file with auto cad it runs perfectly fine. Please fin the .dwg file attached Any ideas??? SO1358_SO1359_Beryl_P4_8_OUT_Cabinet_Dimension_Drawing_V1_230313.dwg
  6. Hi All, I'm posting this message to find the solution to my problem. I'm using the event seating tool and I can't change the texture or the colors of the chairs / tables. They stay white.... Do you have any idea why this is happening? Please find a screen capture. I'm using version 2022 SP3.1 Thanks in advance....
  7. Thanks Kevin, That's a shame.... Then I don't see the point of putting so many Manfrotto Stands in library if you have to edit all of them.
  8. Hi Guys, This is my first post. I've been recently trained on Vectorworks Spotlight and I have a question. It might sound ridiculous but I can't find the solution to my problem. I want to hang a lighting projector (like a fresnel or a profile) on a lighting stand (for exemple manfrotto). I did find the stands on the library but all the manfrotto stands are on the minimum height position. Is there a way to set the height easily? Like the way we set them up for Speaker stand or TV screens Stands? The only way I found so far is to edit the 3D symbol and move the pieces up but that's not very handy... I'm sur there is an easier way but I can't find it.... Thanks for your help Aurel
