  1. OK...have been trying to fix this for three months - but in desperation - posting on the forum then triggers the answer! For some reason Protection Services has been activated. I saw it up on the menu bar. Once I selected the option to uninstall - it will now open. Dodged the upgrade bullet...
  2. Hi, I am running a 2019 3.7 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5 imac with Radeon Pro 580X 8 GB, and 8 GB 2667 MHz DDR4. It automatically updated to Sonoma...and I cannot run VW2023 or 2024. I can run VW2022. The opening window comes up and it starts running through its logistics but freezes. Tried support and they suggested clean uninstall/reinstall - and 'repair' with the updater - but I've had no luck with either. Is the computer too old...do I need an M chip? Any suggestions gratefully received. Thankyou.
  3. Thanks Alan...you are right it is missing. Tried to rename the vwx file in the folder txt - and got an error about an = missing in a line. Vectorworks...anyway to fix this?
  4. I answered this myself! It only works on Landmark, not on Vectorworks Architect. This would be a super useful feature for the architectural package to have too. We use nearmap downloads repeatedly for architectural and urban design work - and manually importing and scaling them is cumbersome/inaccurate. The nearmap images are much better resolution and more up to date than the ones we are able to GIS reference in VW.
  5. Am attempting to set Australian NCC Max. Min for a circular stair and am getting an error message that the file could not be opened. File exists, and is in the right folder in Libraries/Defaults/Stairs/Styles/Minmax as it should be. Any thoughts on how to allow this to be read?
  6. Attempting to import georeferenced JPEGS from nearmap. Have checked the georeference of the file (CRS7856) Have attempted to import 2 x image files from folders each with their jgw file attached Both images come in approx. twice scale and centred over the drawing origin...not geolocated. Have tried adjusting the units on import (should be metres) - no change. Any tips, hints as to what I am doing wrong??
  7. Thanks for this suggestion - I've just checked this and no change - mine is also set at 110. Set it to zero to see if it would move - no change - so doesn't appear to be it.
  8. Am using a Windoor sashless double hung object in my file - straight from Windoor, no modifications or adjustments to settings yet. There is a 2D linework element that appears offset from it by about 12m. I've tried turning off ceiling/trims etc. etc. I cannot figure out what it is and how to adjust it or delete it. It is in the 2D linework class - but if I turn that off all of the other sashes/doors are not visible on the drawing. Have also tried using another symbol, and then converting it to sashless double hung - and the line reappears. Anyone have any pointers as to what this might be? Thanks
