  1. Hi Everyone, I've searched throughout the forum and was unable to find anything in the matter, but I have a reoccurring issue where i have a reference file of a survey that moves within the crop boundaries. Somestimes this happens the same day or it happens after a few weeks, but I've had to move the crop and reposition the viewport mulitple times now. At first I thought that the reference viewport was deleted, but then when i clicked on the ref crop I noticed the drawing was a completely different place. I have tried clicking lock position to fix, but to no success. The VW file is a project share file and we use macs in the office. hoping someone can shed some light why this happens (is it a root issue within the ref file) or if it's happened to them too. Thanks!
  2. @Nina IvanovaHi Nina, thanks for the help. I ended up doing what you suggested right after i posted this and it worked. The only issue I see (as I tried it out) is that when I update the reference, it still takes a long time to run that command. Since our architecture office and interior design office reference each others file, I'm thinking there might be cross referencing that is creating the issue. Is there a way to allow only some design layers to be referenced by others, instead of the whole file?
  3. Hi everyone, My office has had a reoccurring issue the last month where our files take a very long time to open at startup (usually step 6 of 12) prompt. The hold can sometimes take 20 minutes and up to 4 hours for the file to open. Just wanted to know if anyone else is having this issue and if they have found a solution or been able to pinpoint the problem?
  4. @michaelk @Pat Stanford Thanks for your help Michael and Pat. I've tried a number of solutions but none of them were working. I've come to the conclusion that it's a bug where the text is lodged in 3D. I figured out a workaround where I select all the text, set it to screen, then save the project file as a new file. From there everyone opens up a new working file and the issue has since gone away. Cheers
  5. Interesting, I'll look into that. Something I've noticed as well is that it's only a callout that has a fill. When I remove the fill we don't seem to have the issue of overlapping. Also, I'm looking at my Font Mapping List and noticing that the office standard font in questions is not on the list. Anything I can do to add the text into the list?
  6. Hi Michael, these are callout objects. I've checked the OIP and there are no duplicated planes on the list. Thanks!
  7. Hey Everyone, Having issues with text as one of our team members seems to have his text overlap every time he opens up the file. Once he does so and closes out, we all seem to have the issue pop up on our side as well. Any ideas why this would be happening? I've checked the object info and they are all set to screen. In order to fix the issue I have to go in and select all the text and reset it to screen plane, even though it already is. Ive attached an image below. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
