I cannot open files from previous VW versions in 12.5.1. Will not open VW 11 or 10 batch converted files or single files. Crashes the program when trying to open files. I have just reinstalled VW 12.0 and have no problems opening files. I am about to try updating to 12.5 to see if this causes the problem again. Running on a MacBook Pro Intel core2duo /10.4.9/2GB RAM

I got the windows version to install alright.I had changed the name of the application to Vectorworks 11. When I changed it backit ran ok. The windows version now reads 11.0.1

On a macintosh computer the updater runs. I get a message to change the name of the folder's application to 11.0.1, but when i go to About Vectorworks it still says the version is 11.0.0

The updater is not working on my windows computer. It goes up to the locate the VW11 folder then says it does not contain a version of VW11 that can be updated.

It seems that the only way to do this is to use the the VW plugins and to modify the door and swing class settings to assign them a style class. I have replaced the door symbols we have been using with the Architect plugin doors so that i can turn the assigned classes off in the viewport in order to get them to appear correctly. This is not really clear in th emanual, but i talked to Peter Huggins at Resolve and he told me how to do it. VW should look at their manual in order to make this cleare on the steps required to do this

Is there an easy way to produce reflected ceiling plans in viewports. VW 10 had Ceiling View in the View Menu. Now you have to play around with classs settings in the door plugin. We generally reference our drawings into a separate plot file so that it is easier to batch plot the jobs. The referenced layers are locked when imported into the plot file so they can't be adjusted.
