You're right that's what I ended up doing to access the tools - personally I find scrolling icons is easier to find what you want than remembering where a tool is hidden. But I guess that's a personal preference.

Sounds silly but does any one know how to show the nested tools in the Tool Palette? I've tried all the usual right click and modifier keys but nothing seems to work

VW 2021 nested tools: Sounds silly but does any one know how to show the nested tools in the Tool Palette? I've tried all the usual right click and modifier keys but nothing seems to work. The only way I can access them is through the 'F' find menu (which means you need to know what they're called) or by un-nesting them through the Workspace editor.
