    I've input the coordinates by the grid method for a site and when I try to create the site model, there is a mysterious pyramid over the locus and I can't get rid of it. What gives? Thanks! Vectorworks 2008 Mac

    Everything went back to normal. I just opened a file and it's like nothing ever happened. Freaky. Thanks everyone for all your suggestions but I wonder what happened???

    By the way, I have quite Vectorworks and started it again and the problem still comes up. I think it's more than transient.

    This is what I thought. I think the program is suddenly corrupted and I need to uninstall and reinstall.

    My files are too large to email and I am wondering what the best compression software is for Vectorworks. I have 2008, Mac OS. Thanks!

    Yes. Actually ALL of my Vectorworks files behave this way so I think the program itself is corrupted. Does this make sense?

    I tried what you suggested and still nothing. When I select something, the object info palette says "nothing selected". It happens with all of the files. Should I uninstall Vectorworks and reinstall it?

    Thanks!, I'll try it. I WAS working in 3d but I don't know if I was in 3d or not when this happened.

    Help! All of a sudden, when I select an object (eg "wall"), I don't get anything on the Object Info Palette. I have Vectorworks 2008, Mac OS. What changed? Thanks!

    I've run into another problem. I got the stacked layers and show both floors. However, I can't get select both floors so I can't copy both floors to do a hidden line rendering. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks again.

    What is odd is that I used a rectangle command and then extruded it. It only renders the sides, not all around so I"m sure it's a closed object. If it didn't render at all, I think then, the object wouldn't be closed.

    Probably simple but the command location has changed from 12. I can't seem to figure out how to link layers in v. 2008. I have a mac OS. Thanks.
