The number comes up on launch and then, partly, in the About box, so yes, it is the correct serial number. While using the software I got a message saying an upgrade was available, but, of course, upgrade can't install without quitting VW, and couldn't quit VW without losing my work. Finally had to quit, lose work, install SP2 and now VW saves ok. Must say I'm very frustrated by this little episode. Mature software such as this shouldn't have these serious quality issues.

Im having this problem too. First time I use VW 2020 after upgrading from 2019. I do have a license. But cannot save the file I created. Its only a couple of hours of work, but very annoying.
