I've had many users report that VW ran well using VMWare specifically.

Does the dongle glow bright red when plugged in?

Gonzal, If you go to File > Export you will see an option to "Export as VectorWorks 12 File"

Are you unable to select it if you use Force Select? I didn't see it mentioned, though you may have tried it by default.

Did you use the HASP License manager and Dongle Drivers from the DVD? If so, try these instead: ftp://ftp.aladdin.com/pub/hasp/new_releases/driver/HASP4_driver_setup.zip ftp://ftp.aladdin.com/pub/hasp/hl/windows/installed/redistribute/lm/HASP_License_Manager.zip

The tedium involved in trying to figure out (much less manually sorting) which particular files were needed for just fundamentals would be pretty severe. Many of the files needed for other variants of VectorWorks are used in fundamentals as well, and you'd still end up copying the majority of the files regardless. The best way to do it, would be to copy the contents of the DVD into a folder on the server, zip/rar or otherwise compress the folder, the, push it out to all the user machines and decompress/install from there. -J
