  1. Hello All,

I recently switched to Vision from Martin Show Designer Pro.  I was a user of MSD for 12 years, but feel the software is destined to go away. I am sure I will have a ton of questions.  Any great getting started guides/tutorials would be appreciated.

  2. Here are my benchmarks.  I recently returned my MacBook Pro with the Radeon 560 GPU.  I now have the same machine, but with the Vega 20 GPU.  You will see I have better performance both in CPU and Open GL.  The CPU & GPU numbers below the highlighted ones are my old benchmarks.

  3. My workstation configuration

    Windows 10 Pro

    MB ASUS Prime x299-Deluxe

    Intel i9-7980 XE

128gB Corsaire Dominator Platinum Quad DDR4 2400 RAM

    Main Drive - Samsung 860 Pro 1Tb

    Cache Drive - Samsung 970 Pro M.2 512gb

    nVidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti

I don't know what if anything I can do to boost the power and efficiency of my system when it comes to Vectorworks.  If anyone has a link or knowledge you can share on what the best settings are I would appreciate it.

  4. I am certain this has been brought up before, but Vectorworks has to do something about how Renderworks handle the cache.  It is ridiculous that I have to restart every time I want to do a new render.

If someone has a trick please share it with me.

  5. I just ordered a Sonnet eGFX Breakaway Box, and a Radeon Pro WX9100.

    System:

    MBP 15, 2018

    i9 2.9GHz Processor

    32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 Ram

    Mojave OS

I am working on an LG Ultrawide 34"

I will let you know how it goes with C4D R20 Studio and Vectorworks 2019 Designer SP2

  6. Hello All,

I have a project that requires a rendering of an existing room.  The level of detail in the room and some of the design elements are beyond my current abilities.  Particularly the Windows and doors are inset. I have attached a photo.

Any suggestions on how I might recreate this style would be appreciated.
