Alicia Montero

I have recently downloaded the free educational version of Vectorworks 2019 for PC. The screen flashes blue whenever I move the cursor after drawing a line. I can't think of an intentional reason why it might do this and I have redownloaded the programme to see if it was just a problem with the download. Has anyone had the same problem and know how to address it? Many thanks
