In VW8 there was a plugin to open early version Minicad dwgs. Is there anything for VW10?

A symbol folder can be created for access through the resource library. I wish a hatch folder can be created as well. So I can group all my hatches in one file.

It is really cool that you double click on a symbol or group to edit. But when you double click on simple objects by accident, you get the message "Selected object has no edit behavior". I wish this message didn't show up. It can be annoying, and it happens often. VW 10

In vs 8 the extend tool worked good, so that multiple objects could extend to a line. In vs 10, it seems as though the extend tool has been replaced with the connnect/ combine tool? Anyhow the extend tool is gone? If It would be great if the extend tool could be improved by: selecting a line, and the objects would extend to the line and beyond, reaching an imaginary line that is a continuation of the line selected, as a boundary. This worked great in 'Visual Cadd' (back in the day).

I know the command for "Save sheet" is in the menus, but can there be "Edit Sheet" as well, and can these be grouped in location with the saved sheets script ? Besides the scroll bar location, because if I hide the scroll bars, then the "save/ edit/ goto sheets" is gone.

All of the mentioned above is true, but I only wish you didn't have to insert these pallet commands to execute them. I wish they ran instantly. I could make scripts into menu commands, but the system of organizing shortcuts differs from pallets to menus, and the pretty pictures associated with the scripts. This is only a wish Thanks all.

Yes! I've made scripts like menu palettes. Weird that you mention, I also made linewieght menu scripts, you will see this donated on Vector Depot soon. Line type 0-5. and I've made other scripts that are useful. But you have to click somewhere in the drawing to execute the script.

I wish you didn't have to click on the drawing in order for the palette commands to execute. Unlike a menu command that executes as soon as you select the command.

I wish that there are not any reserved shortcut keys, because I have set up an office workspace, that people use, and when VW10 was released, it had some shortcuts that bumped out ones that the office had as a standard. And these people don't understand or learn quickly to adapt to the new keys, as I had to find new homes for our shortcuts. For example: the space bar is a newly reserved shortcut. Can the users have complete control of what they wish their keys to be? : cool:

What ever you assign your short cut key to be for the selection command - double tapping the same shortcut key will deselect all.

In VW 10 there is a key for setting the color of all layers to the same color. I wish the same key existed for setting the lineweight to the same for all layers.

Is there a h handle) for previously gripped objects?

I found it easier in other programs to draw a line, wall, etc. by just clicking the start point, then heading the curser in the direction of the next point and immediatly entering distance (architectural)

I wish the program accepted 2 key input instead of 1 key for accessing commands. there are so many commands and we are limited to the # of keys to assign. example:Za - zoom allZo-zoom outZw- zoom windowZp-zoom previousZi-zoom in Mi- mirrorMv-move
