Hi All, I have attached a screenshot of me trying to move a floor plan. I have unlocked it and grouped/ungrouped but will not move all elements. It only moved part of plan and I don't know why? Any suggestions please?

Hans when you modify dos you import an image into the Renderworks style?

OK can anyone tell me how I set a background in VW. Do I do it in Design Layer or in Viewport and how does it work. Do I  import into extruded rectangle? Thanks, Ashling

[Heliodon Light usage]

Hi everyone, just wondering am I correct in thinking, when using Helicon Light, that you create new viewport and make changes there as opposed to the Design Layer? Can anyone help me on this please? Thanks, Ashling

I was just wondering how people title their drawings and updated drawings for reference? DO you call them 1, 2, 3 and date them or is there some VW Layout I am not familiar with? I guess similar to architects?

Can anyone give tips on best use of Renderworks Camera to get nice angles and shots?

Tips please on calculating Circle Radius and Arc Length with dimensions. See file attached this is what I calculated but very unsure and need to be accurate as its a stage we are building with Baluster glass panels to stop from falling. ??

Yes Kevin I do, I just cannot get a good view of this model when in 3d. I am not used to lighting effects and is very dark shades.

The company does not have a standard for this so creating myself. Hope I am making myself clear but what way would you present final plans with exact dimensions to give to carpenters for construction?

OK I have to dimension counters, Pods, and stage with backdrop for construction. Does anyone have tips or examples of dimensioning themselves? Obviously has to be accurate. Thanks.

Hi - You can set the SCALE for each viewport independently - and independent from whatever scale your design layers are at.  So you should set the size of your sheet layers (11x17 or 24x36, 8.1x11, etc) and then try the scale that fits best:  Select the viewport, and in the Object Info Palette, there is a menu for scale.  Different viewports in the same sheet layer can have different scales.  So you can do a full scale detail next to a 1/4" ground plan, for example.

When I create new viewport of 2d structure dimensions, it it huge in my sheet layers. When I try to scale down the dimensions all change. How can I get it to fit the page. Need to print out so carpenters can make structure.
