Thank you Matthew. I was using VW 8.5, upgraded my OS from 9.1 to 9.2.1 and all is good.

I'm sure this is pretty simple, but I can't figure out exactly what's up. My selection handles aren't visible, and I can't find a preference for them. What am I missing? Thanks, Adam G

Katie, Problem solved there seems to have been a conflict with th ATI Drive Updater and ATI Resource Manager Extensions. Doesn't make much sense, but I can run without 'em while I'm working. Thanks

Katie, I'm running VW on my G4 laptop, using OS 9.2.2. I have CarbonLib v1.5 in my extensions folder, and have a minimum 20000k memory, according to my info palette, preferred size is set to 39063k. Let me know if you have any ideas. -Adam

A designer I'm assisting created a plot with VW8.5. I only have VW9 on my laptop. When I opened the file he sent me, all the instruments were converted to 2-D symbols, not lighting symbols. All the instrument data was attached to rectangles, which were neatly arranged in a corner, which said quote: Orphans . How do I open a VW8 file using VW9 without detaching the instrument data from the lighting symbols?

I just upgraded to 9.5, then to 9.5.1, and I'm having crashing issues that began with 9.5. If I click on the Desktop my computer freezes up, I can't even force quit. This just began after I loaded 9.5, and it doesn't happen with other programs, so it has to be the upgrade, right?
