[Plant tag manipulation]

It seems I can no longer manipulate the plants tags except in the plant style editor which changes all of them.  I cannot access them in the object info palette either.

I used to be able to manipulate the plants in the object info palette.  Now it seems I cannot.  It is all grayed and inaccessible.

Is there a setting I need to change?

[Extended Screens]

When I am using 2 monitors in extended screen mode, certain things disappear including the Resource Manager when in floating mode and every worksheet that I open.  I have to go to duplicate screens to be able to see them.  Anyone else have this problem?

[Plant Symbols Plan Shadow Visibility Question]

My question about plant shadows is this.

When pasting a plant on the plan, it may have a shadow from a previous setting.  When I go to change it, it does not change on the plan.  New plants have the correct shadow but I want to change all of the plants already in the plan.  The Documents Settings are set and I have set all plant style settings to the document setting and gone in and changed the visibility setting to the plant style setting.  Quite frustrating.  VW2021 Landmark.  I have also clicked the show shadow on plan button.

I am having the same problem with one sheet in my file.  Did you find a resolution?

[Covered porch with stairs]

Did you find a tutorial?  I am trying to model a screen porch.  Wes I could not see your example.

 

[Editing a hatch causes crashing]

I have tried to edit hatches, I.e. remove background, and my VW2017 crashes every time.  I even make a duplicate with a new name and same problem.  Any ideas?

Benson, I tried your suggestion. Still cannot edit it.

Here is the file with the one pasted line.

It says it is a 3d polygon, so i tried converting to lines but the line segments are 8" long and do not show the dashed characteristic I want. I then tried converting to polygon, selecting wireframe rendering and could then edit and it seems to show the desired class style dash line type.

I use Windows version 16.

Thanks, I tried decomposing but it did not allow me to change the line type.

How do I insert it not as a symbol? I merely imported the dwg and that is how it was inserted on a design layer.

How can I change a complete survey from an AutoCad symbol into lines that I can edit? When I click the edit 3D symbol I can select the elements such as a contour line but I cannot change the attributes and it does not match the class attributes. Want to change from solid to dashed line for example.
