Thanks for the reply. I tried to drag and drop an Autocad 2010 file, it wouldn't open either. Besides when I go to the file menu> import>import DXFDWG not in plug-ins folder, nothing happens, no dialogue box of any kind pops up. So I don't even have the option of selecting a file to open.

Nothing happens when I click on either of the import DXFDWG options. If I drag a DXF or DWG file to Vectorworks I get an unrecognized file message. Any ideas??
