    How can you move a wall after inserting a window that is specified to take up the entire wall? If I try to grip the wall I select the window instead and drag it out of the wall.

    I'm going to make my custom wall types starting from the ones standard in Vectorworks. That should solve it.

    Strange, after copy pasting them in an other file they are joined... So it seems related to my file.

    - These thin lines become thick when using component join tool. - They appear most of the time, sometimes they don't. - Custom wall = wall with components I 'made'. - Wall caps are off.

    Why doesn't this happen automatically? Clicking dozens of walls is a painstaking task.

    http://imgur.com/HHYSfo3 Where should I find this? I guess the order is about the same as the english version. But I'm under the impression the dutch version looks very very basic compared to the English one.

    Whenever I try to align a wall to the grid, vectorworks uses the door as a reference. My grid is 5x5cm but the wall itself never gets aligned well... instead some point of the door aligns to the grid. And to be honest, grabbing to the grid is a disaster overall. Some settings I really should mark on or off?

    How do I copy a wall without copying the elements that are inserted in it?

    I'm trying to install VWX 2015 but it keeps saying i need to install java, while I have installed it via the link provided by VWX 2015 itself... "There is no valid java version installed. This is required for installation of Vectorworks. Install Java from the opening website."

    Reshape handles on everything... Just started working with VWX professionally and because of the lack of this intuitive modeling it doesn't feel BIM at all. For exemple resizing windows is a real pain.

    If I want to make an undefined wall thicker it thickens out from the middle outwards. How can I move the axis of the wall to the out or inside?

    Don't know what you mean with splay but if I make a new window that situates behind the outer brick wall it happens again. Now they all appear to be orange.

    When I rotate a viewport the direction of the lines of patterns remain unchanged, can I make it so that they rotate with the viewport?
