mUahahaha problemo solved!! i needed to replace the arcihitect classic workspce...before i had only replaced the architect workspace... Thank u all for ur technical support.

i have uninstalled quicktime and reinstalled with the original version i always had running...no success...also YES i had keyed in 70MB of RAM instead of 704MB of RAM. i am a student at home not at work....still not solved ARRRRRRR.

had a registry fix and has not solved the problem...my quicktime is working fine....any suggestions as to why my vector works wont open?????

thanks for ur reply..i tried disabling antispyware but still no go....i also cant reinstall quicktime to the VW dvd as my hard drive doenst have dvd drive...only cd.... i am trying a registry fix to see if that helps as it is not just VW that is not opening...simple microsoft updates r also failing to upload....

HI all i am new and have a problem opening my vectorworks. i am getting the message :Vectorworks Application has encountered a problem and needs to close.... Error mess: AppName: Vectorworks.exe Appver 12.0.1.53930 modname:Quicktime.qts Modvers: 7.55.90.70 offset: 00094180 it was working fine before and i cant seem to find a solution....i thought maybe it has somthing to do with my new antispyware...which keeps telling me i need to upgrade to windows 7 or SP3....???? My system: VW version 12.0.1.53930 Windows XP SP2 32GB HDD 70MB of RAM Any help would b appreciated!!!! Frustated......
