  1. Hello @jblock any update on this matter? Still having this issue... 1 year later 😅
  2. See video... Basically, when I snap a dimensions to a CENTER point... the dimension does not "follow" the object if I move it!!! Dimensions follow object ONLY if snapped to END/CORNER points. Why? Is there any options I should turno off or on? Screen Recording 2020-04-28 at 15.49.39.mov
  3. HI, with SP6 not yet resolved this issue! @jblock
  4. Mh... no idea 🙂 that should set the "reference point"? I just tried setting the "user origin" but it does not change the behavior. The full drawing got scaled without a reference point...
  5. Hello 🙂 Is there a way to maintain the position of the drawing when changing the layer scale? See the video attached, if I want to keep the "reference point" that I indicate with the arrow after scaling the drawing... so the drawings "scale" from that point... is it possible? 03.mov
  6. @jblock hello, SP4 did not solve the issues... is it still an open case? Thanks.
  7. With Dual - Stacked Layout the offset (Text Off) does not work when I add a note... the whole dimension text moves. See video. With Single Layout all works. Screen Shot 2019-05-16 at 5.10.40 PM.mov
  8. Thanks all, all of these methods are good and that is what I used most (specially the Cmd-B and Cmd-F in order to bring the object back and forth). But it is very "incorrect" mode, not a correct work-flow... VW should implement the J key, by pressing the J it should highlights the different objects that overlaps... without opening an additional window... Anyway, thanks!
  9. This will help, but there are a lot of steps to select the object first, and then re-click the snap point... Is there a more quick way?

  11. I have uploaded a video which is easier than words... here is my issue: In this case I have 2 squares, and I need to select the 1st square clicking on its middle-point... the issue is that there are 2 overlapping snap-points, and VW selects only the one positioned as last one, which stands on top. Is there any way to "loop" or "cycle" through the available snap points? Snap.mov
  12. Btw, to solve the issue of the TEXT/FONT freezing everything, I found out that if you do this you can speed up a little: - make a new text (this will be slow) - make a new line - select this new line - try to edit the previous text (without deselecting the new line) Same thing if you move text, do a new line, keep it select it, add to the selection a text and move.
  13. Hello, is there any way to select "lining figures" for fonts in Vectorworks 2017? I am using a font that allows to view its numbers in "lining figures" style, but in Vectorworks 2017 I don't see that option... Can anyone help? Thanks.
  14. Hi, I am using last VW SP4 on 2016, with Mac Sierra, latest release.
  15. Start typing a TEXT, then switch to another app leaving the TEXT command open, switch back to VW and try to input any letter/number/symbol... it does not work!!! Just the RETURN key works. If you click on the VW screen, then it starts to work again. This was not happening before VW 2016. If you need to copy/paste texts often this is very annoying and time wasting. See video. Test.mov
  16. JimW, any updates on this? The issue is when opening an existing file, if the TAG is on a folder and not on a file, VW cannot detect if VW files are into that tagged folder...
  17. Hi, Every time I call the Finder window (to save new file, to open new file etc) and clicking on my Finder Tags, nothing comes up. It flashes the tagged files for a millisecond and disappear... Check image attached. Thanks.
